1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PomodoTree ("the app", "the service") at pomodotree.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the service

PomodoTree provides two products:

• Web application (pomodotree.com) — a free, browser-based Pomodoro timer and productivity tool. The web app includes a countdown timer, task management, ambient sound generation, session analytics, and achievement badges. It is supported by advertisements via Google AdSense and uses Google Analytics for traffic insights. The web app is provided at no cost to the user.
• Browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) — a Pomodoro timer extension with additional features including forest growth, site blocker, YouTube tools, drawing board, note-taking, and web activity tracker. The extension offers a free plan with core features and a premium plan with the full feature set. The extension contains no ads and no tracking.

3. Use of the service

You may use PomodoTree for any personal, educational, or professional purpose. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or extract the source code of the app with malicious intent
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the servers or infrastructure that host it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or systematically download content from the service

There is no age restriction on using PomodoTree as the service collects no personal information.

4. Intellectual property

The PomodoTree name, logo, interface design, and original written content on this website are the property of PomodoTree. The Pomodoro Technique itself was created by Francesco Cirillo and is not our intellectual property.

The source code of PomodoTree is proprietary. All rights are reserved unless otherwise stated.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

PomodoTree is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We do not guarantee that the service will produce any particular productivity outcome.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PomodoTree and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the free web application shall not exceed zero, as the service is provided free of charge. For paid extension subscriptions, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Data and privacy

Your use of PomodoTree is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

8. Third-party links and services

PomodoTree may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

The web application uses third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Google Fonts. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Advertising

The PomodoTree web application displays advertisements via Google AdSense. These advertisements are not endorsed by PomodoTree. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any advertiser. The browser extension does not display any advertisements.

10. Premium subscriptions (browser extension)

The PomodoTree browser extension offers optional premium subscriptions processed by Dodo Payments. By purchasing a premium subscription, you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. See our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

11. Modifications to the service and terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when these terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
